While Norfolk Southern is based in Norfolk VA, their power can be spotted more and more often in New England thanks to their 2009 partnership with Guilford/PanAm. Here in Massachusetts, NS power is most often spotted on coal trains headed to & from Bow New Hampshire. These trains travel on the old B&M Fitchburg line, then along the Stony Brook line, heading off into New Hampshire via the wye at North Chelmsford MA.
